Shakara

Mare
by International Champion sire S.K. Shakla Khan (imp USA) out of
Shakeelah.
Shakara is an "A" Class champion having been awarded that honour
as a yearling at the Victorian Championships. She is chestnut with a
flaxen mane and approx 15h.
She is a big mover, with great conformation and the sweetest nature.
Her dam Shakeelah, by Amir El Shaklan (imp UK), is
a multi A Class Champion. She was
Champion Filly at the Feature Show as a yearling
and Champion filly at the Yarra Valley "A" Class as a two year old.
She was also Reserve Champion filly at the Vic Classic as a yearling.
Shakeelah is also an outstanding broodmare, at the 2009 Australian
National Championships,
three of her sons were shown for one Australian Championship and two Australian
National Championships Top Tens.
Shakeelah is a half sister to the Australian National Champion yearling filly
Valouria, who was also
East Coast Champion 3yo filly and Feature Show Supreme Exhibit as a 3yo.
Shakeelah is a grand daughter of the stunningly beautiful mare
Sarika
who was Supreme Exhibit at the Vic. Classic "AA" Class show twice.
Sarika was also the dam of two Australian National Champions -
Malmsbury Samira and
Malmsbury Sami
Shakara's sire. S.K. Shakla Khan was twice Australian National Reserve
Champion
and has sired 11 Australian National Champions so far.
He is a grandson of the legendary El Shaklan by
Sanadik El Shaklan
- the sire that is regarded among international breeders as being one of the
world’s most influential sires.
His get have won many World, International and National Championships.
