Cranston Park Khamissa
F15879. Born 12/11/89
Cranston Park Khamissa is a lovely
liver chestnut mare with an outstanding pedigree.
She was raised as an orphan as her dam died soon after her birth.
This has given her a very laid back attitude so she was only very lightly shown.
She had one foal before we purchased her, a filly, Breakaway Khameo, who is the
dam of
the highly successful show horse and sire - Arinya Park
Klass who, apart from being a highly successful show horse
himself,
has produced numerous successful progeny including the East Coast and
Australian Reserve Champion Filly, Esplendour’s Aphrodite
who also won Supreme Ridden at the "AA" Vic Classic.
Her sire - Simeon Shai (exp USA) (Raadin Royal Star
/ Simeon Safanad) was bred
at the famous Simeon Stud by Marion Richmond and exported to the USA.
After his arrival in the USA, he had the distinction of being awarded 1991
Triple Crown Stallion
(same-year championships at Scottsdale, the Canadian Nationals, and U.S.
Nationals).
To top off the Triple Crown, he then went to the Salon du Cheval at Paris in
December 1991
and came home World Champion Stallion.
He thus became the first Arabian stallion ever to win all four titles.
As a sire, he has produced numerous U.S. and Canadian National winners
as well as champions in eight other countries. In addition, he has national and
international champions in Australia, several European countries, South Africa,
and the Middle East.
Khamissa is one of very few mares by him in Australia.
